Interreg Central Europe, third call for proposals

Purpose of the call : 
The overall objective of the programme is to cooperate beyond borders in central Europe to make the cities and regions better places to live and work. The third call has following specific objectives relevant for the CE projects: Low carbon economy (Priority Axis): • To develop and implement solutions for increasing energy efficiency and renewable energy usage in public infrastructures • To improve territorially based low-carbon energy planning strategies and policies supporting climate change mitigation More information: http://www.interreg-central.eu/Content.Node/Low-Carbon.html

Minimum and maximum financial support: 
Minimum financial support: -Maximum financial support: Up to 85% of co-funding for partners from Slovakia.It is recommended that projects should have a total budget in the range of 1 to 5m EUR. In exceptional cases, smaller or larger projects can be supported.
Eligible applicants: 
• Public authorities and related entities,• Regional development and innovation agencies,• Enterprises (including SMEs),• Chambers of commerce and other associations• NGOs• Financing institutions • Technology transfer institutions, universities and research institutes • Energy supplies and management institutions• Environmental facilities• Education and training organizations, transport operators and infrastructure providers• OthersThe minimum requirement for a project partnership is the participation of 3 financing partners from at least 3 countries.
