Can we use blockchain methods to track provenance and handling conditions in circular value chains ?

Hi,

It seems we can.
A friend of mine sent me an article on Singapore-based VeChain by which one can track products and information. They cooperate with DNV-GL that is a provider of product assurance and certification. Three Italian wineries tag their bottles with a My Story label, using VeChain hardware tags.
Thanks to the tags and the QR code consumer can get information on product history of each bottle of wine (e.g. how it was cultivated and bottled, the variety of the grape and the owner of the vineyard, quality, authenticity, origin, ingredients, water and energy consumption, etc.).
All of the information gathered is stored on the VeChainThor public blockchain.

So, it sounds encouraging.
