ECO-RECYCLING LTD. with its head office in Novi Sad is the first factory in Serbia for recycling of used auto and truck tires and other rubber waste.

We began working in 2009 after obtaining the license for storage, treatment and transportation of harmless waste from the Ministry of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning of the Republic of Serbia and we operate in compliance with all ecological standards of the European Union and Austria Quality Standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004.

By three years investment we have increased the capacities for processing the rubber waste and upgraded the production so now in the factory we have a production line for rubber granulate with the processing capacity of 46.000 tons of rubber waste per year, a production line for fine cleaning of wire to 98 % purity, and a line for production of the smallest rubber granulate with the dimensions from 0 – 1 mm. Latest investment from April 2012 provided the installation of the SUPER CHOPPER SC2109T, the first installation of this kind in this part of Europe. It is intended for processing dumper tires.

It is estimated that the amount of the newly created rubber waste in Serbia is around 26.000 tons per year, which is 20.000 tons of waste less than our processing capacity and therefore there is a need of additional acquirement of recycling material.

Currently, we employ over 90 people, and the trend of increasing the scope of work is being transferred to the number of employees. Considering that we are the pioneers of this business category in Serbia, we are aware of how important it is to have well skilled and educated staff and by investing in our employees we maintain our leadership position and improve our business.

In the last couple of years in Serbia the awareness for the necessity of solving the problem of accumulated waste is growing, and more and more people are included in the recycling chain. The process of the rubber waste recycling is 100 % ecological, there is no detrimental effect for the environment nor does it create any further waste substance. In other words – everything is usable and by production of rubber granulate which is further being re-used we protect the natural resources.
Our goal in the future is to maximally use the available resources through setting up new standards in rubber waste recycling thus completing the whole process of recycling and giving our contribution to sustainable development and protection of the environment.
